Experience all the great events that
Northern Michigan has to offer.
- * May 14 - 16 National Morel Mushroom Festival, Boyne City
- Enjoy adventuresome hunting in Northwest Michigan woods in search of
the gourmet wild mushrooms.
Guided hunts, seminars, contests and a carnival are some of the events planned for this great weekend. The Boyne City Motel is located two blocks from the festival.
- * June 11 - 12 Free Fishing Weekend, Statewide
- Fishing license not required by residents or nonresidents. Enjoy
memorable fishing in Lake Charlevoix or the Boyne River ( 1/2 block from motel) Great
weekend getaway!
- * July 3 - 4th Celebration, Boyne City
- We celebrate in a big way!
An arts and crafts show is held every 4th of July on the waterfront. A hometown parade, a rubber duck race on the Boyne River, concerts, and Chicken BBQ are a few of the events. Don't forget the fireworks at dusk where you may enjoy them on the waterfront (only two blocks from the motel) or right from our motel parking lot!

Boyne Falls Polish Festival, Boyne Falls
- Each year Boyne Falls celebrates the Polish heritage with polka
music, polish food and a carnival for the kids!
Festival events include a parade, contests, rodeos and games. Great family fun!
- * August 6 - Ride the Char, Boyne City
- Enjoy beautiful Boyne Country as you tour the area by bike.
Select from a variety of distances.

Labor Day Car Show, Boyne City
- Downtown invasion starts Friday evening, show is Saturday at
Veteran's Memorial Park and drag racing Sunday at Boyne City Airport.

- * October Harvest Festival, Boyne City
- First weekend in October the Boyne Area Chamber will host it's
annual Fall Harvest Festival.
Farmers markets and vendors will set up their wares on main street. Fun, food and entertainment for the whole family! Color tours of beautiful Northern Michigan round out the festival.
- * November 25 - Annual Holiday Parade and Open House,
Boyne City
- The community invites you to enjoy the holiday cheer in Boyne City.
Events include an evening parade, caroling, hot cocoa, holiday floats and Santa visits.
- * December 3 - Holiday Hobby and Craft Show, Boyne City
- Huge holiday arts and crafts show.
